You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Here's how, including the data we get from Facebook and Instagram.
Text DISCONNECT
Text DISCONNECT to your TextYourWeb number. We remove our access to your connected Google, Facebook and Instagram accounts and delete the access tokens and account data we got from them. We'll text you to confirm.
Remove TextYourWeb in Facebook
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find TextYourWeb and choose Remove.
When you remove TextYourWeb, Facebook tells us automatically and we delete the data we got from Facebook and Instagram for your account. Facebook shows you a confirmation code. You can email us that code to check on your request.
Email us
Email hello@textyourweb.com from the email address on your account, or include your business name and mobile number so we can find it. Tell us whether you want us to delete only the data from your connected accounts, or your whole TextYourWeb account (your site, messages, photos and version history).
What we delete, and when
- Within 30 days, we delete the access tokens, account and Page IDs, profile details and copies of posts we stored from the account you disconnected or asked us to remove.
- If you ask us to delete your whole account, we also delete your site content, messages, photos and version history.
- We may keep billing records and other records we're required by law to keep.
- Posts already published on Facebook, Instagram or Google stay there until you remove them on those services. Deleting your data with us doesn't remove them.
We'll confirm by text or email when your request is complete.
