The service
TextYourWeb builds and hosts a website for your business and lets you update it by text message. If you connect them, TextYourWeb can also update your Google Business Profile and post to your Facebook Page and Instagram account from the same texts. You text a change to your TextYourWeb number, we prepare it, text you a preview, and publish it when you reply YES.
SMS program terms
Program name: TextYourWeb account and site updates.
- What you'll receive: replies to the changes you text us, preview links, confirmations when changes go live, setup messages (including links to connect your Google, Facebook and Instagram accounts), and optional check-in reminders (for example, before holidays).
- Message frequency varies with how often you text us. Check-in reminders are usually no more than 4 per month.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Text HELP for help, or email hello@textyourweb.com.
- Text STOP to opt out at any time. You'll get one message confirming you've opted out. Text START to opt back in.
- Text DISCONNECT to remove our access to your connected Google, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Who can make changes
Only phone numbers listed on your account can make changes. You're responsible for keeping that list current. Changes to your domain, contact details, or payment links may require a confirmation code sent to the account owner.
Connected accounts
You can connect a Google Business Profile, a Facebook Page, and an Instagram professional (business or creator) account. You connect each one by signing in on Google's or Meta's own pages and approving access. We never ask for or see your passwords for those accounts.
- By connecting an account, you authorize TextYourWeb to update it on your behalf, but only with changes and posts you approve by text, or, if you're on the Autopilot plan, the posts and review replies described under "Autopilot" below.
- You must be allowed to manage each account you connect.
- Google's and Meta's own terms still apply to those accounts. Those companies may change or limit their services, decline or remove content, or end our access. We're not responsible for their decisions, but we'll tell you if a change you approved didn't go through.
- You can disconnect at any time by texting DISCONNECT or by removing our access in your Google or Facebook settings. See our Privacy Policy and data deletion instructions.
Autopilot
If you choose the Autopilot plan, you authorize TextYourWeb to write and publish posts to the accounts you connect, and to reply to your Google reviews, on your behalf. Each week we text you the posts planned for the next week. Any post you don't skip or change by the cut-off in that text counts as approved. We reply to 4- and 5-star reviews without asking each time. Replies to 1- to 3-star reviews, and to any review that mentions refunds, injuries, health, legal issues or discrimination, are texted to you to approve first. We write only from facts you've given us, your website and your real reviews, and we never use AI-generated photos of your business, your work or your customers. Text PAUSE AUTOPILOT to stop scheduled posts and automatic replies at any time, and RESUME AUTOPILOT to start again. You can also text UNDO to take down the latest post or review reply where the platform allows it.
Previews, review and publishing
Except for Autopilot posts and review replies (see above), nothing is published, on your website or on a connected account, until you approve it by replying YES (or an equivalent reply). Each preview tells you what will change and where it will go. Depending on your plan, a person on our team may review a change before your preview is sent. You're responsible for checking previews, including post captions we write from your texts, before approving them. You can text UNDO to restore the previous version of your website and Google Business Profile hours, or to remove a post we published where the platform allows it (some Instagram account types can only delete posts in the Instagram app).
Your content
You own the text, photos, and other content you send us. You give us permission to use that content to build, host, and update your site, and to publish it to the accounts you connect, as you approve. Don't send content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful. We may decline changes that break these rules or the rules of a connected service.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. A one-time setup fee may apply. You can cancel anytime; your plan runs to the end of the paid period. When you cancel, we disconnect your connected accounts. After cancelling, you can request a copy of your site's content and photos.
Availability
We work to keep your site and the texting service available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Text delivery depends on mobile carriers, and updates to connected accounts depend on Google and Meta.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, TextYourWeb's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by text or email before it takes effect.
